Are you aware that there is not a person or living thing that isn't affected in one way or another by the condition known as environmental illness? Did you know that you can't be healthy if the Earth itself is ailing? In this course module you will learn about the symptoms of environmental illness in your body and the Earth, including the multiple sources of toxins that trigger it. You will gain insights about your biology and learn how it mirrors the function of the Earth's biology. You will also discover the foundational elements that are needed to “keep life alive” within your human/Earth ecology system and support the healthy function of interdependence and wholeness. In this process, you will also consider the ways that you can be a more eco-conscious consumer, by supporting the organic, regenerative farming movement, and choosing foods and lifestyle goods whose production is non-toxic. You hold the keys to detoxifying and regenerating your health and the Earth's!
(3a) How Do We Sustain Life within Our Bodies and the Earth in Today’s Toxic World?
This dialogue, which introduces the topic ‘How Do We Sustain Life within our Bodies and the Earth in Today’s Toxic World?’ asks you to define the term“sustainability” and think about whether it relates more to the Earth’s health, your own health, or both.
Sustainability, you will discover, is about “keeping life alive” and living with awareness about the kinds of energy that are needed to support life in a physical way, as well as an emotional and spiritual way.
You will be asked in this dialogue to think about sustainability initiatives such as wind turbines and the installation of solar panels on roofs, as well as consider electric cars, and determine whether they are truly sustainable.
Are environmental toxins robbing your health blind? This dialogue defines what a toxin is and offers to open your eyes wide to the fact that they are harming you.
You will learn about the toxins that newborn babies are born with and the health issues that these toxins are known to cause. You will also consider whether chemicals are redefining what is normal.
Are you aware of the different sources of chemicals that you are the most prone to be exposed to during your fetal development, as well as your childhood, your teenage years, your adulthood, and your senior years? If not, this dialogue will make you aware of what they are and the health issues they’ve been linked with.
Chemicals, you will learn, are found in everyday products, such as household cleaners, personal care products, cosmetics, medications, and foods that contain additives as well as pesticide and herbicide residues. They are also found in the materials that are used to build and furnish your home and office. Their production and disposal harm all the nested ecological systems of the entire planet up to the global systems of water and air.

Discovery Mission 3:
Eco-Landfill, Eco-Lovefill – Stopping Our Toxic Lifestyle Madness!
In this Discovery Mission, you will look at and evaluatewhat you throw away and recycle, raising awareness of alternative actions to fill landfills and other waste disposal sites with plastics, toxic wastes, used electronic equipment, and other garbage. A fun quiz about some commonly discarded items helps you to become aware of the scale and scope of trash that households in the United States produce, while alerting you to the negative consequences of many of the materials that wind up in landfills. Then the mission draws a parallel between a garbage landfill and the human body, which contains many of the same chemicals and substances that are found in landfills. A second quiz asks you to match chemicals found in the human body with their origins in consumer products, to increase understanding of the consequences to each person of the chemicals and substances that go into the environment from the production and disposal of so many common consumer products. The mission also suggests alternatives that will make your body a “lovefill” instead of a “landfill” and encourage you to shift your thinking.

(3b) How Do We Sustain Life within Our Bodies and the Earth in Today’s Toxic World?
In this dialogue, a follow-up to Discovery Mission 3, you will have the opportunity to explore whether the companies that manufacture toxic lifestyle products are acting in the interest of self or others.
You’ll learn why the government and other agencies aren’t regulating toxic chemicals.
Are you aware of the role that toxic chemicals play in creating conditions such as cancer, multiple chemical sensitivity syndrome, and mast cell activation syndrome? If not, this dialogue will open your eyes to how these conditions are impacting more and more people.
You will also learn about my experience with these issues, and the type of doctors that I have taught me about them as well as the importance of using a multi-pronged approach to managing them.
This dialogue encourages you to make an acquaintance with “hormone disruptors”, which you will discover contribute to hormonal imbalances and reproductive health problems in the female population as well as the male population.
You’ll gain an understanding of the environmental connection between hormonal and reproductive problems that are found in animals as well as people.
Lastly, you will consider the value of enlightened capitalism, which is a means for a company to earn money without hurting the health of people and the planet.

(3Xa) How Do We Sustain Life within Our Bodies and the Earth in Today’s Toxic World?
This dialogue answers the question, “What is detoxification?” and shares the main two actions that are necessary to take to accomplish it.
You will learn that even though the detoxification of the Earth and your human body seems like a huge task, it can be done simultaneously when you become a consumer of an organic food system and eat organically raised foods.
Are you aware that healthy bacteria and microorganisms are as essential to human health as they are to the microbe-rich soil that grows our food? This dialogue offers you an in-depth understanding of the connection between the two.
An organic farming system, you will discover, utilizes processes and techniques that are naturally capable of supporting the Earth’s detoxification. We can bring back the Earth’s health when we raise foods on organic soil (without toxins) and tend to their care in a biodynamic way.
Because the health of the Earth’s microbiome is essential for detoxification to take place, you will explore what the Earth’s microbiome is, how much area it covers on the Earth’s surface, and how it works to sustain life.
In this dialogue, you will also learn about the harmful impact that pesticides and antibiotics have on the Earth’s microbiome, as well as on the crops that are exposed to them.
You will be asked to ponder whether you have a relationship with nature’s most marvelous creation—soil—and gain insights about why it is a precious commodity, not just for farmers, but for your mental and emotional well-being.
Have you been led to believe that organically raised food is no different than industrially raised food? If so, this dialogue will correct your thinking.
You will learn about a journalist who had to retract a news story about organic food because it misled the public into thinking organic food wasn’t safe to eat.

Discovery Mission 3X:
How Can We, as Consumers, Hold Farmers, and the World of Agriculture to a Higher Standard?
This mission suggests that the word “agriculture” implies more than the production of food because it arises out of a larger cultural understanding about how we treat the Earth. The meaning of agriculture, you will learn, can’t be summed up by the word “farming” alone, because in the truest sense of the word, it is much broader reaching than that. You will have the opportunity in this mission to see why farmers who adopt industrial methods of producing food are not truly respecting and honoring the art, science, and business of farming. Practices used by them, such as the genetic modification of seeds (which are designed to withstand more chemicals) and mono-cropping (which is causing a loss of biodiversity) are detrimental to the health of ecosystems and all living things. You will also learn why farmers who adopt organic methods of producing food are doing their best to respect and honor the art, science, and business of agriculture. Practices used by them (such as planting diverse varieties of organic seeds and using organic soil supplements) are better for the health of people and all living things and they protect global food security.

(3Xb) How Do We Sustain Life within Our Bodies and the Earth in Today’s Toxic World?
This dialogue, which is a continuation of ‘How Do We Sustain Life within Our Bodies and the Earth in Today’s Toxic World?’ reinforces the idea that industrial agriculture is morphing into something new and disturbing that it not healthy for the Earth, living things, or people.
You will learn that in the same way that the Earth’s microbiome is hurt by toxic chemicals used in industrial farming, the human microbiome is also hurt by genetically modified foods and the chemicals they are grown with.
Your gut, you will discover, is the seat of your immunity, and detoxifying it and rebalancing your microbiome is vitally important to your health.
Do you know what determines the health of your microbiome and how it supports your health? This dialogue will answer these questions.
Have you ever experienced a bowel disorder? Millions of people experience bowel conditions due in large part to dysregulation of the gut microbiome. In this dialogue, you will learn about how bacteria, viruses, fungi, and parasites underlie many bowel conditions, and how you can create an intestinal environment that is hostile to them.
When it comes to detoxifying and fortifying your gut health, should you consider doing a colon cleanse or a parasite cleanse? This dialogue will cover some options that are available to you.
One of the health consequences people experience because of having a toxic colon, this dialogue highlights, is compromised nutrition, due to a reduction in absorption of nutrients. Another consequence is illnesses that are caused by toxicity.
Are you aware of what kind of diet is best for detoxifying your digestive system? This dialogue will give you insights about the importance of eliminating foods that lead to the build-up of mucoid plaque in your colon and adding foods to your diet that are cleansing and health-building.
Do you consume probiotics? If so, have they worked well for you? In this dialogue, you’ll meet a doctor who says that probiotics “miss the mark” when it comes to restoring health to the human microbiome. You’ll learn about the alternative that he and a growing number of doctors are recommending to their patients, which is derived from ancient soil.
You’ll also hear a story about a young man whose life was saved by consuming this soil-sourced nutritional supplement.
